british male comedy actors

whats the title of this foreign film?
I cannot remember very much about it. It is a British film, released to small art/indie theatres in 2005 (in Australia at least). The only thing I can remember is that someone dies right in the beginning unexpectedly in a cow field or something and later there is something to do with a hot air balloon. Its a comedy/slight drama. And I’m pretty sure the lead actor was a male. Thanks, sorry I don’t have more details!
I honestly don’t remember if he used a lawn chair, you think I would. If you think that may be it and leave the title, I can look it up. I just remember the hot air balloon being over the same field where the guy died.
It is called Enduring Love. It is really not a comedy though.
